Once you know your content and your artwork size, you can start to plan your layouts.   To help you decide, the attached user guide shows you all the flexible layouts and what properties each contains, ie size of image areas, etc. The user guide also gives you examples of layouts created. The guidelines will also give you advice on front page imagery and how to apply logos.

Start to prepare a draft of your brochure using the layouts.
Tip: Use the ppt presentation attached that has been set up to A4 portrait 210x297mm size.  On each page you will see a grid of the layouts - overlay your content on to these to see how your content fits into the PSS layouts you have chosen.

Once you are happy with your brochure draft, start to create your brochure in the PSS tool using the "creating multipage artwork" as a guide.  Insert all your text, use the previews as necessary and select images from the image manager libraries. If you cannot find the images you want, contact a member of the GCS team to prepare your brochure images. See Image Requests to know how.
